hmmx yesterday had a pretty ordinary day...i was extra hardworking...cux today got test..den mux mug...dad left fer overseas again yesterday ard noon...been travelling alot tis past few weeks... hmmx...been bz wif his business i guess...but he's going to take part in the TNP new paper after 5 pool league...coolx... representing his friend's bar...my dad's one hell of a pool player...two time safra 9-ball champion..haax...he sure can make it de~! hmmx... went to kiap hse wif sui feng... studies QAS... nt bad...manage to absorb quite some... slack awhile...joke ard as usual..hmmx but nt bad cux clear some of my doubts..by the time reach hme at 7... abit shag liaox...most brain cells used up watched yi tian tu long ji.. nth to watch le i guess...nt bad... hmmx tried to study QAS on my bed where there's no distractions...but ended up felling asleep...dots...

My Country or My Girlfriend?

I've just become a national serviceman and will serve my country for the next two years of my life. To reward me for this, i am now in the "highly probable to lose your girlfriend" club. Urban legend has it that 70 percent of NS guys will lose their girlfriend within their period of service. Urban legend also tells of the white lady sitting on top of the Jacob's ladder in the Standard Obstacle Course, but thats another lady for another story. Right now, i'm worried about mine.

The first thing they tell you to look forward to in your Basic Military Training is Visiting Day, which occurs two weeks after you book into Pulau tekong. But this is also the day it all begins. From the solitary NS man waiting in vain for four hours at the Tekong Ferry terminal to the quiet sobbing in the toilet after the visit. The girls have started to leave.

What causes this? According to my recently jilted sergeant, "Any girl who stands by you through your BMT really loves you." Well, his girlfriend stood by his three months in Pulau Tekong and his five months in specialist training. But when he finally got posted to his unit, he received a nice long SMS, which said, "I can;t stand not being with you anymore, so I rather not be with you." And of course, "but i still care for you alot, as a friend."

Do girls really want us to be there 24/7? "No", says a female friend. "he doesn't have to be there all the time, as long as he makes time for me during the weekend." But are weekends long enough? If you are posted to a stay-in unit, the weekends ar your sanity keepers. They are times for you to relax, wear slippers and catch up on sleep- 48 hours is too short to rejuvenate oneself, let alone a relationship.

Age plays an important part too. Most girlfriends would be in their late teens or early twenties- finishing their studies or starting a new job. It is a time of new experiences and new faces. Hormones are raging and temptations are everywhere. From the cute colleague at her new job, to the hot hunk she met on a night out, guys are aplenty even as the boyfriend is stuck in camp. Fill in the rest of the blanks...

In the meantimes, i have compiled a list of ways to keep my girlfriend while in NS:
1) Tattoo my name across her forehead
2) Make her wear a chastity belt
3) Post her picture on a website called http://www.shehasbadbreath.com.sg/
4) Turn her into a leabian (and pray that i have what it takes to turn her back)
5) Pay her friend to ward off all other interested parties.
6) Singn her up for an Afghanistan charity mission for two years
7) Paint a life-sized portrait of myself on her ceiling, so i can "watch" her every move.
8) Fall off the three tonner, break bothg my legs and lose sight in one eye so the army will deem me unfit for service and throw me back into the arms of my girlfriend.

Honestly, i don't think any of them will work. Yes, my girlfriend is meeting new people. Yes, I can't spend much time with her. But what i can do is put her on my speed dial and tell her that i love her and that I will keep the country safe, just for her. If she is worth keeping in the first place, I know that will be enough

basically had a soso day... hahax...morning went for practical...lolx...polymer processing prac... very fun to disassemble the mould...LOL...played ard wif the alan keys..lol after which went for COL lecture...hahac crap alot durin tt lesson...lunch...went fc1 hahax... fc1 now hard to find space sia... LOL... ate an apple..jian fei..LOL cux at nite got buffet mahx...hahax CEP prac..wah laux..damn stuffy.. wanted to finish the prac asap..LOL...

after prac..took train wif tanny...he go outram park..den me go paya lebar...hahax...went to try SPEED the 10min hairstyling saloon..lol cux hair too long.. doze off while the person cutting.. ask person cut short... my back told her to cut and thin it...i tink she jux thin it...den nev cut short...wah looks damn funni lor...nvm i ugly enuff... abit more ugly wun die LOL...hahax CMI jiu she zhi yang..LOL after which.. went home slack awhile... pack bag den go chalet...lol meeting dem 8pm at pasir ris mrt control station...bus 17 is super duper long..so long nev take le to pasir ris... hahax ever since pri and sec sch...LOL

as usual cls ppl...sure late de...hahax...but nvm hehex...manage to catch the shuttle bus at 815 in the nick of time...LOL... wen reach dere..hahax most of the buffet food all gone le.. hahax but still got leftovers lahx...hahax... eat le cux we veyr hungry...hahax after eat we play dai dee...LOL play dai dee like evrytime we r free...wahhaax den dere we r like crappin and crappin.. fighting wif mosquitos oso...hahax...at abt 10plus got Annual dinner and dance... drank red and white wine... the red wine not bad...though its bred in 2002...young but the taste is rich...not like super rich..but its soothing..LOL white wine oso not bad...lol after tis wah den came all the liqour.. hahax... 1st came absolute vodka mandarin..LOL mixed wif orange..hmmx not bad lah...lol hahax.. drank a few rds...den we played wu gui wu gui tiao, me, kiap and pk hahax.. loser mux drink...lol i keep on winning~!~! 4 consecutive rds... den cannot drink...LOL... ahaha... den wen sui feng join us...dey chg rules...winner drink..winner ta...wah dots...den i lose...sian diaox...LOL after which..hahax ask my ho mix for me sumthing...LOL mix bacardi wif coke for me... hahax... not bad lahx... hehex...quite song... den ta finish the cup le... got jack daniels mixed with sprite..tts my drink of da nite..hahax not bad!~~! LOL, baileys was oso nto bad..put lotsa ice cubes..hahax...din drink the johnnie walker black label last nite though.. haax....blardi sam ta 1 whole cup of pure vodka den another is bacardi and jack daniels mixed...buay tahan he... super alcoholic... lol...

hmmx basically had a relatively normal day...abit tired... these few days haven been slping well i guess...
morning wake up abit sianx sianx...dun feel like going sch...1st lesson was engineerin maths..geex i tell you...i tink i will die during ICA.. cux evrytime i use sure got error...arGHX~!~!finish the tutorial and got 9.5 out of 10.. basically evry1 got 9.5/10 abit slack, sum of us din finish oso get 9.5... only the two professors got full marks i think cux dey are like TWO tutorials ahead of us...wtf~!~! went to egraph manual drawing rm to play dai dee after tt...as fc2 too many ppl..no space...decided not to eat... din win consecutive 10 games of dai dee straight..dots... chee chuan,cg and ho wei wah laux..bully me

hmmx..to say..dun really hv much mood to blog today... listening to zHANG shan wei's shi xin feng now...hmmx sad song...but nice song... today basically had a typical day any student would have...day was rather fine...went to sch early for project...project haven finish yet sighx... den da rest of the day is jux deja vu like any other tuesdays...engineerin maths...as usual...its brain cell killing... machiam like i'm taking design and tech all over again *shucks*

Well yesterday was a rather fun day.. hahax...early morning wake up...hahhax very early...go pk hse and meet him.. den we met kiap and took bus to bishan for GV Family Day~... dey were screening Garfield in advance hahax...rather long ride...LOL... but nvm..it was fer a good cause~!! as we were goin to watch Garfield~~!!~!~!~kekex...hahax...den damn funny we went dere...oso wif val, xue ting and suifeng. ye hein oso join us~! hahax... as usual he was sporting a cap... had a free buffet...LOL... food was rather ok... but hungry lahx...hahax so whu cares...hahax bLeAHX...leon was there too...surprisingly... haax... well... we den proceed to the cinema.. when we proceed to the cinema there was a lucky draw...lol based on our seat numbers...wah dots...den kiap 1st peerson to get..hahax...mini-soccer table... lol, next sui feng whu was beside him got da mini soccer table too...lol our row quite lucky... wahhahax...

the movie was great...except for val sittin beside me...:P:P:P hahax shhh...lol tis mei of mine very funny...go in onli start paste stickers on da free Harry Potter sticker book... den in da movie hands cold...so i pass her my wind breaker ...lol den after tt she complain now her jacket got my perfume smell...dots....malunated me... well nvm Garfield is ONE FAT CAT!~!~ blardi hell can see his fats bouncing and dangling ard...LOL... 1 lazy cat... bill murray did an excellent job as da voice of Garfield.. hahax...garfield's lame and damn funny...u guys gotta watch out fer his dance!~~ wen da movie screens in Sept...lol(HEY mAMA) da show was full of laughters...ahaax...really crack myself up...hadnt had a gd laugh in so long... kinda took my mind of the things happening ard me now... hmmx enuff abt tt... and of cux not to mention Jennifer Love Hewitt..she's da BOMB~!!~ wah laux...nice figure sia...cHiOBu~~!~! she surely deserves the CCB(chao chio bu) Title. but i miss her long tresses... she doesnt look realli gd wif short hair... but den...her body is still va ~va ~voom~!~!! lol...

after movie walk around in bishan hahax saw the variety show..dunno wad variety show lah.. thing by huang shu fang...or sth like tt... den val and ah dor go buy ladies sandals... hahax.. frm charles and keith..too much money to spare sia dey all den we went to cineleisure to makan... LOL... eat long john... saw mdm erlis dere...she was shocked to see me...doing her Master's now in science education or sth like tt...LOL she still got da fierce stare lah...LOL... den we keep on tokin crap...lol... kekex... but nvm... had lotsa fun... hehex... after tt went parkway alone while kiap dey all went home... went to help my fren wif some stuff...den go ome super shag liaox..hahax.... research on da bloody CEP expt can kill sia...LOL :P

gOsh..today morningx...wOOtx..damn shiok... reminds me of Genting Highlands cux it was damn cold and windy... LOL... converted my cuetec to a break cue... hahax it works like a charm now...LOL den after tt went classic... today had quite a gd game of pool... rather zhun today...LOLx... wah laux... parkway super crowded... the pasar malam is attracting ppl like they are bees..and the pasar malam is honey...had to squeeze thru... hahax den damn humid...LOL... make one feel beri pek chek... sianx...

reach home ard 7plus 8...relatives at moi hse... young cousin denise was sick...poor her...she jux lie on the sofa hugggin her bolster, keepin quiet... den dey hang ard...den left abt 11... LOL... aniwae...
